One Under was inspired by two things:
Faith
My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life, and I want to honor Him and all that He does in my life and in the lives of my family and friends. Just as the Pledge of Allegiance declares that we're one nation under God, I'm one person under God and lead one firm under God's guidance.
Golf
There's no greater game. The relationships it fosters and the experiences it provides are unmatched. One particularly successful round, in which I finished one under par, provided the middle-of-the-night inspiration for the name of my firm.
